About ISHLVLSTUDIOS

ISHLVLSTUDIOS is a multidisciplinary creative studio founded and led by Lashan Mitchell (ISH), a New York–based visual artist and Creative Director. Working across film, generative cinema, fine art, photography, editorial, and cultural archive, the studio develops original visual work through image, motion, atmosphere, and intentional creative direction.

The studio operates through interconnected divisions that reflect the range of ISH’s creative practice. Film centers human-led visual storytelling across fashion, events, campaigns, and everyday observation. The Generative Lab uses AI-assisted workflows to extend cinematic execution while maintaining human authorship and editorial control. The Art Division presents original works by ISH alongside fine art photography by DOBLEM, while Theory × Logic × Abstract preserves ISH’s visual diary, art gallery, and evolving cultural archive established in 2012.

Built as both a studio and a creative system, ISHLVLSTUDIOS brings together artists and collaborators including ISH, DOBLEM, HEMISKELL, and MOONBEAR. Each project is shaped by a shared commitment to culture, narrative, experimentation, and precision, while remaining grounded in individual authorship and a distinct visual point of view.

The work exists between archive and future—documenting the present, preserving visual culture, and developing new ways to communicate ideas across art, fashion, music, design, and technology.
